The start line is Providence Bay Park on Booner St, Hawks Nest. Run down Booner St for 100m until a sharp right turn onto the Myall Park footpath. Follow this for 250m until Sanderling St where you turn right then a quick left through the dirt carpark to the back and onto the Michael Rowe Walk. At the end of the track turn left and then a right on to single track towards Mungo Brush Rd. When you reach the road proceed down the road verge for 2.5km then turn left onto Pipers Creek Trail 500m down the trail turn right on the Tops to Myall Heritage Trail.


Stay on the Tops to Myall Heritage Trail until the new road deviation, cross the road and stay on the trail, until the next road crossing where you will turn sharp right (do not cross the road a second time) and head into the Dark Point carpark water station. Here follow markers over the dunes and on to the beach. Stay on the beach for 8km until the flag at the National Park sign. Leave the beach and take the small track up to the access road. Follow this until the left turn on the single track towards Michael Rowe Walk. At the end of the single track turn left and follow the trail back to the walk and head back through the forest towards the finish line at Providence Bay Park.

NB - this distances are as close to reality as possible but do not take into account variable terrain, track width, if you wander off track, stopping to take a photo, etc, etc ..
